With your Macintosh, your voice capable modem, a phone line with three-way
calling, and Bonzer, you can have an advanced telephony system for your home
or small business. We developed the Bonzer application to provide you with
an advanced, yet easy to use, voice mail application with features not
found anywhere else for the Macintosh.

Bonzer's powerful features can keep you in direct contact with your
callers (personal or business) day and night, anywhere you happen to be.
And that's not all. Bonzer is easy to use. It has been developed to operate

  Message forwarding (no pager needed). Bonzer will call any phone number
  that you designate, ask for a password, and play your new messages.

- Call Forwarding Features
  Callers simply press "0" to be transferred to any number that you program.
  Transfer to an attendant/operator, just like expensive corporate voice
  mail systems.
  Home users may wish to enable this option, but not state its availability
  in the outgoing announcement. This will allow friends & family who know
  about the feature to contact you immediately if they need to.
  Remote modification & confirmation of forwarding phone number.
  Remote on / off of call forwarding feature.
  Ability to reject forwarded calls. When a call is forwarded, an announcement
  plays telling you that your computer has a call for you. You can either
  press 1 to accept the call, or press 2 to send the caller back to the
  Bonzer voice mail system.
  Call screening on or off. With screening off, the call is transferred
  directly to you. With call screening enabled, you will hear the callers
  name first, and then be given the opportunity to accept the call, or
  reject and send it to voice mail.


Conduct remote local & toll-calls through your Macintosh.

Cellular Call-out example:
When you are away from your home or office, and need to make a long
distance call, simply call your Macintosh and Bonzer will answer your
call. Enter the password protected user menu and request to have Bonzer
call you back on your cellular phone. Now hang up and wait.... Bonzer
will call you back and allow you to place calls through it to anywhere
you desire. But wait, the best part about making calls in this manner,
is that each call you make through Bonzer is charged to your home or
office phone at a reduced rate. You can also call into Bonzer and
perform call outs without a call back, allowing you to make faster
long distance connections.

Pay-Phone Call-out example:
Whenever you need to use a pay phone, simply enter enough change to
call your Macintosh and request that Bonzer call you back (at the pay
phone). Now hang up and wait.... Bonzer will call the pay phone, and
allow you to place calls anywhere you desire. Since Bonzer called the
pay phone you won't have to keep feeding lots of those quarters into
it, saving you TONS of money. If the pay phone doesn't have its number
listed, simply dial the operator and ask for it. It's that easy.

Hotel Call-out example:
Anyone that's ever been to a hotel or motel knows that a great percent
of them charge by the minute for local calls, and all of them charge
for long distance calls. Many of them even charge you the local rate
to use your calling card. But you won't get charged on incoming calls.
Is Bonzer starting to make sense? Just have Bonzer call you at the
hotel/motel and you're in business.

Question:
"How can Bonzer call to my room when the hotel operator answers the call?"
When you call into Bonzer and request a call back, Bonzer will ask you if
you want an announced, or an unannounced call back. If you select the
announced call back feature, Bonzer will ask you to record a brief message.
Simply record an announcement asking the operator to transfer the call to
your room. Next, Bonzer will call the hotel, and then play and repeat your
message for the operator to transfer the call to your room. The announcement
will continue to play until you enter your secret code, or until it times
out (the time out feature allows for hold time, slow transfers, etc.

Simulation Mode
Allows you to simulate all of the features of Bonzer without actually using
the phone line. Helpful in learning the interface, or to see its rich features.

NEW: iMac Voice mail & Speakerphone Update!
     
Well, we have bad news and good news....

First the bad news.  Apple's iMac computer systems don't support speakerphone
functionality.  The internal 56k modems that all iMac computers are shipped
with, don't have the hardware capability to support the protocol that's
required to use any vendor's speakerphone product.

And on to the GOOD NEWS!  One thing that the iMac's internal 56k modem will
do well is voice mail.  That's why we developed special versions of Bonzer 
and PhonePro  for the iMac!  To get more information on either of these

We're working on a software application that interfaces with the Pocketalk
