*One way to determine if you have a geoport modem is to look-up and read the last three digits /characters in your serial numberÊ(for*performa 6400). Or look in your control panels folder for 
"Express modem"or the extensions folder for related elements.

LOCATION: The serial number is on the back of the case near the top on the left, just below the subwoofer volume control. There should be a bar coded sticker with the serial number, just above the Apple FCC compliance sticker.
